Psychology sessions are approximately 50 minutes and cost $210.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you can receive a Medicare rebate. The rebate is $141.85 per session. You may receive this rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The Medicare rebate can be claimed in the session after full payment. This means that the gap payment will be $68.15 per session.

Private Health Insurance

You can contact your private health insurance provider to enquire about rebates for psychological therapy. Please note that you cannot claim a Medicare rebate and a private health insurance rebate at the same time.
